This upgrade will affect our New York Area Data Center. All Portabilling servers in New York Area Data Center will be upgraded to version 18.

Upgrade will begin at 0000 hours (-5 GMT), October 20th,2009 and should be completed Tuesday October 20th,2009.
No service interruptions are expected.

With this upgrade we will be able to offer

• instant messaging support with our voip service
• increased stability and performance for PortaUM, PortaSIP and PortaBilling
• RTP Proxying per Customer
• Routing based on ASR, PDD, ALOC and PPM  (quality based and not just current least cost routing)
• Extended API functionality for web integration
• Improved Web Interface
• Improved Callback Application (including CLI registration) for those using PortaUM. This is already available for those using our Cisco IVR/Porta Servers.
